What kind of experience do I need?
While experience teaching or running your own business can be helpful, they are not required. The most important qualities for success are a sincere interest in teaching children combined with the motivation and commitment to grow a successful business.

Is JumpBunch a full or part-time career?
To own a JumpBunch franchise, you must be prepared to make this a full-time (roughly 40 hours a week) endeavor. The nature of JumpBunch classes allows flexibility from a normal 9-5 career, but to be successful, it really needs to be a full-time business pursuit.

Do you need a physical location or storefront to operate a JumpBunch franchise?
No, JumpBunch franchisees make relationships with existing daycare, preschool and elementary schools and other host locations to offer classes at THEIR location, to their existing “customer” base. This is one reason JumpBunch is such a low-cost and low-overhead business model.

Can you please provide a breakdown of the $35K - $77K initial investment? The $35,200 figure is for a franchise fee of $30,000 plus miscellaneous expenses, such as first year's insurance, travel to Maryland for training, starter equipment, etc. That is for a territory of 250,000, which is thoroughly examined in advance for its demographic viability. A territory of 500,000 is $40,000 (plus miscellaneous), and a territory of 1,000,000 is $50,000 (plus miscellaneous, which is higher than the 250,000 person territory).

Many schools, daycares, YMCA/YWCA, etc already offer programs like these. How do you get them to do business with Jumpbunch? We differentiate ourselves by offering a sports and fitness class, emphasis on sports. Parents love getting their kids a head start in sports, and invest a lot for their kids extra-curricular sports. Certainly not every venue gets started with JumpBunch, but enough do, and usually we get great numbers of sign-ups. Our competition is mostly gymnastics, and in many cases we coexist with them.

Who pays your franchisees… the parents of the kids or the school/business? Roughly 70% of our volume is paid for directly by the parents. Preschools and daycares are our largest marketplace. JumpBunch is offered as an enrichment program in these venues; parents see the value and sign up their child. The other roughly 30% comes from what we call "contract schools", where the school budgets for us and pays us directly. Please contact me anytime with additional questions. Thanks.
